E-11 and IB-94 Blaster Mounts Now Available

I finished two more blasters and had to make to two more mounts. The E-11 stormtrooper blaster and Mandy’s IB-94 pistol.  The IB-94 is a Rubies repaint. I’ve had it laying around waiting for a repaint for quite a while.  I tried a few new techniques with this one.  I initially filled the plastic Rubies blaster with sand to give it some weight. It worked surprisingly well and it now how a good feel in the hand.  I also used alcohol ink on the grips to give it a wood look. You apply the alcohol ink in drops and use...

Custom Star Wars Blaster Wood Mounts Available Now

I've been working on some custom wood mounts for Star Wars blasters and they are now available.  I now have mounts available for the rebel DH-17, Han Solo's DL-44, the Mandalorian's Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster and Boba Fett's EE-3. The mounts all have hand painted engraved Aurebesh.  The mounts are also each stained.  They all come with a laser engraved plaque/data card in Aurebesh.  The boards can also be customized to display different text in English or Aurebesh. They are an awesome way to display your Star Wars blaster collection.  You can also order a custom plaque for your own display...

Lego Millennium Falcon Landing Pad

After getting the Lego Millennium Falcon table built, I decided to build a landing pad.  Most people go for Docking Bay 327 from the Death Star. Wood and Monogram Resin Cutting Boards

Mother's day just passed and this year I decided to give my Moms something besides flowers.  I've been having fun with resin and decided to try to engrave some wood cutting boards and do a resin inlay.  I setup the design in Aspire and started with some fancy capital letters to v-carve. The designs carved in the wood pretty easy.  Next up I went to fill with resin. I chose Alumilite Amazing Clear Cast resin over my normal Alumilite Slow.  It's not a very big pour but Alumilite slow cures fast and bubbles are hard to manage without a pressure...

Neopixel Lighted Unicorn Night Light

I found an old glass unicorn I've had since I was kid while cleaning out some old boxes.  It originally came with a white incandescent light and was a night light.  I wanted to use it again but wanted it do more than just light up with a white light. I have an Adafruit Circuit Playground Bluefruit (CPB) that has a built in Neopixel ring. Its the perfect size to light up my unicorn.  So I generated a 3"x3"x2" box on MakeCase.  If you haven't used it the site is awesome. It lets you enter the dimensions of your box,...
