CCHobby Designs Lighted Signs for the FAA Challenger Space Operations Room

CCHobby recently designed 20 lighted nameplate signs for installation in the FAA Challenger Space Operations Room. CCHobby nameplate signs can be customized with any text, graphics or photos.  CCHobby was chosen because of another well received lighted sign installation at Wallops Island for NASA. The install called for the signs to be mounted on poles next to monitors in a control room style layout.  Custom 3D printed mounts were designed for the signs along with the logos and text. Mother’s Day Gifts!

Mother’s Day is coming up and like everybody else I need to give out gifts to the very deserving moms in my life.  I wanted to make something that was unique, memorable and most importantly usable throughout the year.  Family photos and photos in general are alway precious to most moms.  So, I decided to gen up something to uniquely display the photos. I’m etching the photos onto 1/8” thick acrylic.  I just started using Lightburn software and I have to say its a HUGE upgrade over RDWorks.  The software makes converting images into a laser engravable format a breeze....

Club Quarantine Party Lights

My wife has been really digging the @dnice Club Quarantine dance party.  It's been a really nice break while we stay at home. To help her get in the vibe a little more, I whipped up a sign.  I cut it out of 1/8" acrylic and put on a portable battery operated stand.  Perfect to setup any place in the house while she gets her groove on!

Sabacc Credit Chips

With a lot of time on my hands now, I'm coming up with more creative ways to engage the family.  I purchased a set of Sabaac cards from Star Wars Galaxy Edge.  The card deck is cool but you can't really get that Sabacc experience with out some credits to make it lively.  I didn't want to use regular poker chips so I needed to make something that matches up.   I started playing around with some ideas.
