CCHobbyFun Lighted Sign Presented to Criss Angel by Make a Wish Nevada

Lego Batwing Lighted Wall Mount

When I saw the new Lego Batwing kit the iconic 80’s scene of the batwing flying in front of the moon came to mind. I knew I was going to purchase it and it was going on a wall.  The only question was how to recreate the scene. Acrylic Sneeze Guards for NASA

I was recently contacted by NASA at Wallops Island VA to build some acrylic sneeze guards for their launch control room.  They have an upcoming launch and to minimize the chance of COVID-19 inflection, NASA wants to install sneeze guards between each of the control room stations.   Because of the COVID-19 outbreak and the volume of businesses that are installing  acrylic protective barriers, acrylic sheets have become harder to obtain.  I contacted some local acrylic suppliers and managed to get an order of acrylic sheets.   We settled on 36”x 36”, 1/4” thick clear acrylic sheets.  The bases were...

Mother’s Day Gifts!

Mother’s Day is coming up and like everybody else I need to give out gifts to the very deserving moms in my life.  I wanted to make something that was unique, memorable and most importantly usable throughout the year.  Family photos and photos in general are alway precious to most moms.  So, I decided to gen up something to uniquely display the photos. I’m etching the photos onto 1/8” thick acrylic.  I just started using Lightburn software and I have to say its a HUGE upgrade over RDWorks.  The software makes converting images into a laser engravable format a breeze....
