Space Battleship Yamato Update

I took a break from the RC boat version and printed another Yamato that will be a static display with electronics.  So far I've got the bridge lights going and I've finished the code on the wave motion engine startup.  I'm using and addressable LED ring in a clear resin printed engine part.  Arduino code is loaded on a ESP32 board and its controlled via IR remote.   I'll post more as I get more functions done.  Next up is the wave motion gun and main guns rotation. RC Space Battleship Yamato Construction

Growing up Star Blazers was one of my favorite cartoons.  At the time I didn't even know what anime was. I just knew I loved the "Argo" (Yamato). Technology being what is these days I can 3D print/build just about anything so its time to put my favorite boat, starship, submarine, aircraft carrier etc in the water!! My goal is to make the Yamato and rc boat.  I originally thought about making it a working submarine but opted out because I didn't want to deal with design headaches that come with that. RC Knight Rider Car With Touchscreen Control

When I was a kid I loved Knight Rider.  I had a plastic toy KITT car that  would play sounds from the show when you pressed the license plate. It was a great toy.  I recently  looked it up online and was thinking about buying one. They weren't crazy expensive.
